Dakabin Special Education Unit is one of the largest in the area. It is staffed by a Head of Special Education Service, and an appropriate number of teachers and support staff.

The SEU is an integrated part of the school and provides support for students with a learning disability (SWD). Students identified for inclusion in the SEU program spend varied amounts of time working in their classrooms and in the Unit.
