On Thursday, the school participated in AFL Queensland Cup competition. We were represented with a Girls team and Boys team. For all of our players this was their first time playing competitive AFL.
The teams performed brilliantly against experienced opposition from Morayfield East, Banksia Beach, Mango Hill and Nudgee College.
A big highlight was the boys recording the first win for the school beating Morayfield East by 12points.
An even bigger highlight was the enthusiasm about day from our students. We got the question at the end, 'Mr A and Mr Clarey when can we do this again it was awesome'.
Unfortunately, this was a one-off competition in 2023 but bring on 2024.
