Our year 4 students had a wonderful day at St Helena Island last week:
"My name is Emma and I'm going to tell you about our excursion to St Helena Island. First we got on the bus and then we got a boat to St Helena Island. When we arrived a guard took us and showed us around. We went to the graveyard and after that the guard and prisoners put on a little show. Going to St Helena was so much fun! The guard showed us where the prisoners slept, did jobs and cooked the food."

"Year 4 had to get to school at 7:15 am. Then we got the roll marked and started to get on the bus. After an hour we arrived at the spot where the boat was waiting for us. We sang a song called “The Wellerman" and the Guard was pretending to be mean to us."
