Our Year Five students were lucky enough to spend three days at picturesque Tuchekoi. Focussing on teamwork and leadership, our wonderful students challenged themselves to a range of activities. Students faced their fears on the giant swing, flying fox and leap of faith, appreciated the beauty of the surrounding nature with a hike and canoe, and took some time out to reflect by participating in some craft and drumming.
With each activity, fears were faced, new friendships formed and leaders emerged. Staff and students enjoyed a genuinely rewarding experience together, not to mention the fantastic food.
A massive thankyou to all DSS staff, and also our Year 5 families, who contributed to making this camp possible.
