As part of Science week, some high performing students in years 5 and 6 had an opportunity to experience subjects that they will undertake at Dakabin High School.
This visit focussed on the Science Department and the Agriculture Department. The day began with students analysing whale snot to determine the health of the whale as well as learning about native bees and creating a native bee hotel.
We then moved to the Agriculture department where they were lead through how to care for Guinea pigs, chickens, sheep and low line cows.
An amazing day was had by all and students thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
