If you like playing in the water and the mud, then Nudgee Beach Environmental Centre is the place to be! A few weeks ago, the Year 2 students had the opportunity to go on an exciting adventure to learn about the life cycles of different sea life and plants.
The children participated in hands on activities where they potted plants, pumped for yabbies, searched the mangroves for snails, worms and crabs, and collected slimy egg sacks.
This engaging experience allowed the children to leave the classroom, and enjoy and learn about our marvellous natural environment and the fascinating creatures within it.
