On Wednesday 18 Oct, 15 students from Yr 5; Prisha, Ella, Lavina, Xavier, Lockyer, Freddie, Kael, Justin, Thomas, Landyn, Ivy, Danielle, Rory, Isabella and Samantha, were selected to represent Dakabin SS in the 2nd Annual Drone Soccer Competition where they competed against other northside schools.
All 3 teams competed brilliantly and represented our school with pride while holding steadfastly to the values of our school.
At the end of the day, one of our teams, The Dakadrones, made the finals and finished 3rd overall.
Not only did they win individual medals, they also won our school a drone that will come in handy. It was an honour to take these kids away to compete and I am so proud of them all.
